Joe Plaskett was born in New Westminster, and studied History at the University of British Columbia. He went on to study at the Vancouver School of Art under Ustinov, Amess, Shadbolt and Binning. He has had solo exhibitions across Canada in Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver.
