Taiwan’s mosaic of culture and the island’s scenic wonders through the lenses of two intrepid Canadians: photography by Michael Hockney and film by Christian Bell. The exhibit features cornerstone panoramic landscapes and intriguing studies on the people of Taiwan.
About the Artists: Michael Hockney is a panoramic photographer. His studies have included visual essays on Scotland, Labrador, Nova Scotia and Vancouver Island. In 1996, he formed the Pi Group (an artist’s collective) with cinematographer Christian Bell. Their mission was to advance Canadian excellence in photography and documentary.
