This exhibition features paintings about water with a new emphasis. They refer to the fluctuating and sheer power of a fluid element – resonance, rhythm, weight and displacement, shadow and transparency. The viewpoint shifts from above-water to submersion to rock-bottom, looking in and up.

Tom Rigby was born in 1921 in London, England. He was the founding director and member of Xchanges Gallery & Studio Space in Victoria, B.C.
