This film depicts artist Myfanwy Spencer Pavelic visiting Maxwell Bates in his studio. Bates, Pavelic and Spreitz were all members of the social artist group, the Limners Society, and this footage delicately conveys the intimate relationships that they shared. The tranquil ambiance of hte film allows the viewer to join Pavelic and Bates in an intimate meeting where Bates demonstrates his creation of a monotype print.
