Andy MacDougall, ASPT is a master screen printer, writer, and consultant. His book, Screen Printing Today: The Basics is internationally recognized as the best how-to guide for screen printing. He is a member of both the American Poster Institute (API) and the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA). In 2007, he was elected to the Academy of Screen Printing Technology (ASPT) in recognition of his contributions to the profession. He has led a long career, working in and operating large print studios across North America. Currently, he lives and works on Vancouver Island, BC. He runs Wachiay Studio, which focuses on producing art prints for local Indigenous artists, and provides training programs for aspiring screen printers.
