This film tells the story of an abandoned Haida Indian village on remote Skunggwai in Hadia Gwaii. Through powerful and sensitive photography, images of nature are juxtaposed with the totem poles, giving the viewer a better understanding of the people who lived at Ninstints. Archival photographs and films are combined with then contemporary footage to take the village from its height through the removal of some poles in 1957 and  the  conservation program of the Royal British Columbia Museum. The sound track blends Haida songs with original synthesized music.
