Art on Campus

Charles Elliot Temosen-hut, S,yewe History Pole, 1990.

Did you know that the University of Victoria has approximately 2000 works of art on display across campus?

UVic has more art on view in public spaces than at any other university in Canada! All over campus you can find artwork from the collection that enlivens our working and learning environments.

Some highlights of our Art on Campus program include a collection of Coast Salish Art in the Cornett Building, pieces showcased in the Michael Williams Building from the exceptional 1,000-piece private art collection of the late philanthropist Michael Williams, works by some of Victoria’s most well-known artists in the McPherson Library, and much more.
